The ConnectED Library Card Project is part of the nationwide Leaders Library Card Challenge, a federal program supported by IMLS and ULC and developed in 2015 by President Obama's administration. The program encourages public libraries to work with school districts and local government to make sure every student in their community has a library card to increase access to the library's valuable resources and services.
